Overview

It is estimated that over 15 million people in the United States receive cosmetic surgeries each year. Out of this substantial number, many patients do not receive proper care after surgery, which can ultimately alter the entire outcome of the surgery. CosMed At Home began by filling this gap by providing patients with at-home post-surgery care. In addition to keeping patients comfortable, it also mitigates many of the risks that arise after being on the operating table.

When choosing the brand name, Nicklaus Marketing wanted something that would resonate with and be memorable to both doctors and patients. The name “CosMed At Home” was chosen for the way that it fused Cosmetic Surgery and Medical Care, while also highlighting the personalized, at-home service.

After finalizing the name, the development of the logo and color palette began. To convey luxury and professionalism, we chose two clean font styles for the logo. We also placed the C and M (CosMed) above the full brand name for emphasis and to create a simplified trademark look that could be used on promotional items. As for the color palette, black, white, and a soft touch of blue achieved the feelings of luxury and serenity we were striving for.

Carrying this strategy into the website development phase, the look and feel of the site was clean and concise. We kept the content simple, so doctors and potential patients alike could easily digest and understand the services offered. We also created physical marketing materials, including business cards, QR code displays, and tri-fold brochures that were distributed to plastic surgery centers.

For a personalized care experience, Nicklaus Marketing and PR developed a CosMed Comfort Care Package to deliver maximum pampering before and after surgery. The care package included a branded robe, sleep mask, water bottle, and medicine organizer.

When building the CosMed At Home brand, our team focused on building a strong, localized foundation that could eventually be scaled up to encompass a broader geographical range. Focusing on five pillars of excellence — Professional Medical Care, Luxury Service, Privacy & Trust, Customizable Care, and Peace of Mind — CosMed At Home provides patients with a trusted, comfortable, highly individualized recovery experience after cosmetic surgery that has already garnered the approval of plastic surgeons and patients in the tri-state region.
